Materials & Martingale Collar Features

• Colourfully patterned, carefully stitched by hand and easy to adjust thanks to a sleek zinc alloy slider – our martingale collars are a safe and ultra-stylish option for greyhounds and sighthounds alike. 

• They’re also a popular alternative for medium to large dogs who tend to slip out of regular collars, however not recommended for bulkier breeds with big jaws (rotties, mastiffs, staffies and alike are better suited to standard collars with a buckle).

• Like traditional collars for greyhounds, our martingale collars are wider (4-5cm wide depending on the size you select) and buckle free – only tightening if your serious sniffer catches a scent in the opposite direction!

• Have an unusually strong sighhound who doesn’t quite understand heel? No problemo! Our martingale collars feature a strong zinc alloy D-ring that boasts a 150kg break strength.

• We make each martingale collar with sturdy Polypropylene Webbing for the inner structure and screen-printed soft 100% cotton for the outer layer. Polypropylene Webbing is mold, fungus, water and mildew resistant and 100% cotton is hypoallergenic – meaning your slothful sighthound gets the best of both worlds: safety and style.

Easy-adjust Martingale Collar Sizes

• Our martingale collars are designed for dogs whose head and neck are a similar width. They’re wider than a standard collar, lay flat against the skin for complete pup comfort and feature a strong zinc alloy slider to ensure a snug and safe fit. 

• We offer two easy-adjust martingale collar sizes: small and large. They’re best suited to medium and large greyhounds, whippets, irish wolfhounds, lurchers and staghounds – but tend to be too roomy for petite Italian greyhounds.
